Nottingham Forest are looking to enhance Nuno’s squad for next season and are keen on bringing Thomas Kristensen to the City Ground, according to TMW.

Nuno’s Forest, who beat Manchester City in the Premier League this past weekend, are reported to have set their sights on Kristensen, who is flourishing at Italian club Udinese at the moment.

Forest’s Premier League rivals Bournemouth are also reported to have shown interest in the Danish centre-back.

Italian Juventus and AC Milan have already asked for information on Kristensen.

Udinese are willing to sell Kristensen, but the Serie A outfit are keen on making a big profit on the in-demand central defender.

According to TMW, Udinese signed Kristensen for €5 million (£4.21 million) in 2023 and want €15-20 million (£12.63-£16.84 million) for him now.

Kristensen has made 16 appearances in Serie A for Udinese this season and made one assist in 26 league matches for the Italian club in the 2023-24 campaign.

Forest are a historic club in England who are having a truly wonderful season.

Under former Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur head coach Nuno, Forest are flourishing and are now very likely to get a top four-spot in the Premier League table this season.

The Reds are third in the table with 51 points from 28 matches and are above the likes of Chelsea, Man City, Newcastle United and Aston Villa.

In fact, Forest are only four points behind second-placed Arsenal, and it is not entirely impossible that they end up second.

The chance to turn out for Forest and play in the Champions League next season as well as compete for a top-four spot again in the Premier League table could be hugely tempting for Kristensen.

Forest will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on relegation-threatened Ipswich Town away from home in the Premier League and are very likely to pick up all three points from the encounter.
