In a blockbuster fixture in Gameweek 30, Nottingham Forest hosts Manchester United at home on Tuesday. The home side are flying high in third and are in the semi-final of the FA Cup. Meanwhile, under Ruben Amorim, United have started to steady their ship and are in the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals. Here are the key things to look out for in the match.
Manchester United has had a difficult season. Even after sacking Erik ten Hag, things have not gone particularly well for them. However, lately, Ruben Amorim has found a solid base. They are unbeaten in seven games.
The last three matches were particularly impressive for the Red Devils. At home, they secured an impressive 1-1 draw against Arsenal, followed by a commanding 4-1 win over Real Sociedad in the second leg of the Europa League. They then won 3-0 at Leicester in the last match before the international break. Despite ongoing injury issues, it was a strong performance from the side.
Now, a few of their injured players are nearing a return to full fitness. Leny Yoro, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Kobbie Mainoo, and Mason Mount have all been part of training in recent weeks. It will be interesting to see how they match up against a Nottingham Forest side that is having an incredible season.
