Nottingham Forest step up pursuit of Villarreal left-back Estupinan

Nottingham Forest are pushing ahead with a move to sign Pervis Estupinan.

The newly promoted Premier League club were turned down by Alex Moreno of Real Betis.

According to Foot Mercato, they have now turned their attention to Estupinan of Villarreal instead.

The 24-year-old full-back is available for around €20 million.

While he is important to Villarreal, the club has economic issues, which means a large bid would be welcomed.

Forest would have no issues making such an offer, as they look to give themselves a chance of staying up this season.
