Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Álex Moreno on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old full-back joins on loan for the season from Aston Villa with the option to make the move permanent.
“Álex is a player we have had a long-standing interest in so we are naturally all very happy to see him arrive at Nottingham Forest today," said chief football officer Ross Wilson.
“He has amassed significant experience in La Liga and the Premier League, and he brings all of that quality and experience to our group now.”
During his time with Villa, Moreno made 40 Premier League appearances registering two goals and three assists.
He brings with him LaLiga experience too, with 146 appearances during previous spells at Rayo Vallecano and Real Betis.
