Nottingham Forest are prepared to match an offer from Saudi Arabia for West Ham United target Wesley Gassova in the ongoing transfer window.
The 19-year-old winger has been heavily linked with a move away from Corinthians this summer with interest from Europe; West Ham have shown interest and remain keen.
Saudi outfit Al-Nassr have also been interested in signing Wesley and have been keen to take him to the Middle East in the ongoing transfer window.
According to Brazilian outlet UOL, they tabled a bid of around €25m for the attacker but a deal could not be agreed upon.
The negotiations fell apart due to a lack of agreement between his representatives and market intermediaries.
It has been claimed that another Premier League side in the shape of Nottingham Forest are now prepared to step up and table a bid for him.
Forest are prepared to match Corinthians’ offer for Wesley and push to take him to the Premier League this summer.
The deal could hinge on sorting out the agreements with the market intermediaries involved in the deal.
