Nottingham Forest value Callum Hudson-Odoi at over £40 million as Premier League clubs mull over a move for the winger.
The 23-year-old joined the Reds from Chelsea just last summer in a transfer worth up to £5m (including add-ons).
The Londoner went on to score eight goals and provide one assist in the top-flight as Forest avoided relegation to the Championship, finishing 17th in the table.
Hudson-Odoi‘s form has garnered attention, with at least three clubs, including some from the Premier League, registering an interest in the player, according to The Athletic.
The report claims that Forest value the left winger “in excess of £40m” just ten months after arriving at the City Ground for a fraction of that price.
However, the club “do not want to sell”, while Hudson-Odoi is “not agitating” for a move. The player is said to be happy where he is, playing in a team where he is getting regular minutes.
Hudson-Odoi broke into the Chelsea first team squad as a 17-year-old and went on to make 126 appearances in all competitions for the club, winning the Uefa Champions League and Europa League.
In 2019 he became the youngest player to make their England debut in a competitive match at 18 years and 135 days old, coming off the bench in a 5-0 Euro 2020 qualifier win over Czechia at Wembley Stadium. He has three caps to his name.
