Nottingham Forest are in advanced negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt over a potential deal to sign striker Omar Marmoush, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Nuno Espirito Santo is desperate to add a striker to his squad before the transfer window slams shut on Friday night.
Eddie Nketiah has rejected a move to Nottingham Forest and the club are reportedly trying to change the mind of Feyenoord attacker Santiago Gimenez about a transfer to the City Ground.
However, Forest are also considering alternative targets and Marmoush has emerged as a strong option for the East Midlands club.
The 25-year-old scored 17 goals in all competitions for Eintracht Frankfurt last season and Nottingham Forest have their eyes on him.
The Premier League club are holding advanced negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt over a potential deal to sign the Egyptian striker.
Forest are prepared to offer a £20m package to the German club to take the forward to the City Ground this summer.
The club want to sign a striker in time to have him in the squad to face Wolves at home this weekend.
