According to Florian Plettenberg, Nottingham Forest expect to see their third bid for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush rejected.
It had previously been reported that the Premier League outfit were looking into the possibility of luring Marmoush away from the Bundesliga after Feyenoord striker Santiago Giménez turned down a move to the City Ground.
However, despite Forest pushing to get a deal over the line, Die Adler have remained firm in their position of not wanting to sell the 25-year-old this summer.
As stated in the report, the Eagles want to keep Marmoush at the club as they consider him to be a key player this season, having scored 17 goals in all competitions in the previous campaign.
Despite this, Forest have just submitted a third bid believed to be in the region of €20–25 million.
Nevertheless, Frankfurt are only prepared to listen to offers in excess of €30 million for the 25-year-old who joined on a free transfer last summer.
At this stage, a deal looks difficult, but negotiations are ongoing.
