Nottingham Forest have completed their 21th signing of the summer transfer window after bringing in defender Loïc Badé from Rennes.
The newly-promoted Premier League club broke a competition record for the amount of players brought in by one club (20) during a single window by signing Josh Bowler from Blackpool, who they then loaned to Greek side Olympiakos.
They then quickly followed that up by adding Badé to their ranks.
Steve Cooper’s side have spent over £138m on new players in this market, more than likes of European champions Real Madrid and Juventus.
Forest have seen goalkeepers Dean Henderson (loan) and Wayne Hennnessey arrive, followed by defenders Moussa Niakhaté from Mainz, Giulian Bancone, Wolves’ Willy Boly, Harry Toffolo, Omar Richards, Neco Williams from Liverpool and Renan Lodi from Atlético Madrid.
Midfielders Remo Freuler, Lewis O’Brien, Cheikhou Kouyaté, Orel Mangala and Jesse Lingard joined the club.
Before the arrival of strikers Emmanuel Dennis from Watford, Ui-Jo Hwang and Taiwo Awoinyi from Union Berlin supplemented their attacking options.
Morgan Gibbs-White’s move from Wolves is the club’s record signing, arriving for a initial fee of £25m.
