Nottingham Forest have completed their 25th signing of the season in Brazilian centre-back Felipe from Atlético Madrid.
The 33-year-old has made the move to the City Ground for a reported fee of £2m.
The veteran has only made two starts in La Liga this season, and has put pen to paper on a x-year deal.
“It was a dream of mine to play in the Premier League and I’m really excited to be part of this wonderful, fast-growing club,” he told the club’s official website.
“You can see it’s a club looking to really grow. It’s a big challenge for me and I made a clear decision to be part of the history here and grow with the club.”
Felipe has made 113 total appearances for Los Colchoneros since joining from Porto in 2019, and helped the club win the LaLiga title in 2021.
Forest have been shaky at the back since earning promotion from the Championship in the summer, with only Bournemouth (42) having conceded more goals than Steve Cooper’s men (35).
