According to Foot Mercato, Nottingham Forest are close to an agreement with PSV to sign Ivorian defensive midfielder Ibrahim Sangaré. The Ivory Coast international is ready to give a green light on a move to the Midlands and complete a deal before the transfer window closes.
The fee for Sangaré is thought to be worth in the region of €30m plus add-ons, according to Florian Plettenberg. The defensive midfielder has been a target for Bayern Munich and PSG this summer but is now expected to make the switch from the Eredivisie to the Premier League before the window slams shut.
Nottingham Forest are expected to be busy in the closing hours of the summer transfer window with the club also looking to close deals for Chelsea’s Callum Hudson Odoi and Bologna’s Nicolás Dominguez. Add Sangaré to that mix and it will be busy a few hours at Forest as they scramble to get all of their business complete before the deadline.
