Barcelona star Pedri was highly critical of the team of officials, on the back of his side’s latest outing on Saturday.

This, of course, comes after an altogether difficult evening for the Blaugrana.

Hansi Flick’s troops marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to El Sadar for a La Liga meeting with Osasuna.

Barca headed into proceedings with sights set on an eighth successive victory to open the campaign, aware that as much would have put the pressure squarely on the shoulders of Real Madrid ahead of Sunday’s Madrid Derby.

When all was said and done in Pamplona, however, a heavily-rotated visitors XI was dominated, on their way to a first league defeat of the term.

Owing to goals on the part of all of Ante Budimir (2), Bryan Zaragoza and Abel Bretones, it was Osasuna who emerged on the right side of a 4-2 result.

One individual, however, of the opinion that Barcelona were in at least some way hard done by en route to as much, is the aforementioned Pedri.

Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle at El Sadar, midfielder Pedri was quick to highlight a pair of potentially game-changing decisions which went against his side:

“There was a very clear foul on Pau Victor and there was a very clear penalty on Lamine. The referee has not been fair to us.”
