Premier League new boys have announced that they’ve signed USA striker Josh Sargent from Werder Bremen.
The 21-year-old had been available following the German giants’ relegation to the second tier.
He has now moved to Carrow Road on a four-year deal, joining for an undisclosed fee, which reports put in the region of £10 million.
“I’ve always wanted to play in the Premier League, so it’s a very exciting opportunity for me,” Sargent told the Canaries’ website.
“I heard it’s a good group of guys and I talked with the head coach already and I really like what they’re trying to do here.
“I like to think my main position is a number nine but I am also very versatile. No matter where I play, everyone can expect that I will give my all and hopefully score some goals.”
Sargent scored 15 goals in 83 appearances at the Weser-Stadion.
