Norma Palafox leaves Chivas Femenil | OneFootball

After two and a half years at Chivas Femenil, Norma Palafox has decided to leave the club to participate in a reality show.

“The Club Deportivo Guadalajara was made aware that Norma Palafox has decided to stop being a professional soccer player of Chivas Femenil due to personal reasons,” said a team statement. “Chivas has decided to provide all the facilities so that she can undertake the professional project that lies ahead.”

Palafox played in 62 matches for Chivas Femenil, scoring 17 goals for Las Chivas.

According to Mediotiempo, Palafox will participate in the reality show Exatlón Miami, which begins recording in July, and will take at least six months to complete the show.

The report went on to say Chivas will resign the player after she returns and will be ready to play in the 2020 Clausura.
