Manchester United supporters are still living off the high of seeing Cristiano Ronaldo represent their club once again. The 36-year-old superstar formally completed his return to the club on deadline day and has enjoyed a stellar start on his second coming.

Ronaldo scored two goals on his ‘second debut’ against Newcastle last week and continued his goalscoring start in United’s 2-1 loss to Young Boys in the Champions League.

Off the pitch, the transition has not been as comfortable, according to reports. Ronaldo made the move from Turin to Manchester with his four children and girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.

According to a report in The Sun, Ronaldo has now made the move to Cheshire, a popular area for footballers, after noisy sheep kept him and his family awake at the old property.

A source is quoted in the publication: “While the property is beautiful and is nestled in rolling fields and woodland, it was also close to sheep which are very noisy early in the morning,” they said.

“It had a public footpath across the land and the road at the front gave a view inside its gates. Ronaldo is a true pro who places a lot on rest and recovery after games, so it was decided it was best if he and his family moved.”

Furthermore, his new home in Cheshire is said to be ‘unique’ and boasts a whopping £3m valuation. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping the unsettling developments will have little bearing on Ronaldo’s performance on the pitch.
