Tottenham captain Harry Kane has not turned up for his first day of pre-season training as expected, according to reports.
After being granted an extended leave following his summer exploits at Euro 2020, the England international was expected back on Monday morning.
But Sky Sports News, ESPN and the Telegraph report that Kane has failed to arrive for the 10:30 start time as the uncertainty over his future takes another big twist.
Manchester City have been strongly linked with a move for the striker, who apparently believes he has a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ with the club to let him leave this summer.
That is something which the Tottenham hierarchy do not believe to be the case.
