A fresh insight into the situation of Real Madrid youngster Arda Güler has come to the fore on Sunday.

The name of midfielder Güler has of course returned to the forefront of the headlines in Spain over the course of the last 24 hours.

This comes after the Turkish international provided another glimpse into his remarkable talents.

Introduced off the bench for a matter of minutes in Real Madrid’s La Liga downing of Osasuna, Güler crashed the most sumptuous of efforts off the crossbar, from the depths of the halfway line.

With as much having followed the 19-year-old’s first goal in Blancos colours just a week prior, it should in turn come as little surprise to hear of internal pressure beginning to mount for Güler to at long last be afforded an extended opportunity to showcase his abilities.

As per a report from Diario AS, despite manager Carlo Ancelotti’s repeated calls for patience, ‘practically no one at Real Madrid can explain why he is playing so little’.

Whether as much culminates in Carlo Ancelotti actually affording the Turk an uptick in playing time at such a crucial point in the season remains to be seen.

But the feeling at Real Madrid is clear – Arda Güler establishing himself as a central protagonist at the club is a matter of ‘when’, not ‘if’.
