“We’re far from done here”

“My team, my coaching and backroom staff, those in charge at the club along with the various other employees and of course the Eintracht Frankfurt fans are all very special to me – as a Frankfurt lad, it’s all part of who I am,” said Arnautis after signing his new contract. “For that reason it didn’t take me long to come to my decision, and I’m delighted, grateful and raring to continue on the journey that I’ve already started with this incredible team.

“I’d like to thank the board and sporting director Siggi Dietrich for the trust that they’ve shown in me. In the first two years under the Eintracht Frankfurt banner, we’ve already enjoyed some significant successes, including reaching the final of the DFB Cup in 2021 and qualifying for the 2022 Champions League. What makes me really happy is the fact that we’ve grown into a real unit both on and off the pitch. As well as all the sporting success, the personal side of things has become a real asset both for the team and the club as a whole. We’re far from done here – we want to write some more chapters in our success story and enjoy more magic moments with the special fans that we have!” he continued.

“Architect of our success”

“I’m delighted that, having tied down almost all of our key players and top talents for the long term, we’ve now put in place another important step in the development of Eintracht Frankfurt’s women’s professional team with head coach Niko Arnautis’ long-term contract extension,” said sporting director Siegfried Dietrich. “Niko is the architect of our current team and in conjunction with the sporting management of the club, has been responsible for the success and positive development of Eintracht Women.”
