According to Manuel Bonke, a Tz reporter, Niklas Sule will miss Germany’s match against Iceland after he picked up a muscle strain.
It is not thought to be anything overly serious but as we stated yesterday here at FCBINSIDE, Flick is already having somewhat of a defensive crisis and if Sule is ruled out of the RB Leipzig clash then Bayern’s defense will really be stretched.
So what exactly is Bayern facing an injury crisis you say? Well, Flick already be without Alphonso Davies after his red card v Stuttgart as well as Jerome Boateng after he picked up his fifth yellow card of the campaign.
It is not ideal for Flick and his Bayern Munich side as the clash with RB Leipzig is a potential title-winning clash. Bayern essentially has to avoid defeat to Leipzig to give them the edge in the title race if they have not got it already.
But with their defensive stocks now looking alarmingly low, it could present Leipzig with a glorious chance to take all three points from their clash with Bayern and cut the lead to a solitary point at the summit of the Bundesliga.
