“Niklas has fulfilled the expectations placed in him in recent years in every regard, so it quickly became clear to us that we wanted to continue to work with him. He is a key player and leader within our team, also playing an important role for the squad off the pitch. We are delighted that he has been convinced to continue down Werder’s path and sees his future here with us,” explained Peter Niemeyer.
Niklas Stark is also full of positivity regarding his future in Bremen: “I feel right at home at Werder and in this city. We have developed really nicely as a team over the past three years and I am confident we are not done yet. I am really looking forward to being a part of Werder’s future.”
Niklas Stark arrived in Bremen in summer 2022 from Hertha BSC. The 30-year-old has played 75 competitive games so far for SVW, scoring two goals.
