If you didn’t know already, Kylian Mbappé is now the club record goalscorer for Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappé scored in the 4-2 weekend win over Nantes – taking him to 201 goals for the club – and surpassing Parisian icon Edinson Cavani (200 goals) in the process.
The 24-year-old was commemorated pitchside with a trophy at Le Parc des Princes, and now Nike have followed up with a bespoke boot to celebrate his achievement.
But they’re not just any boots, they are a remake of the boots he wore whilst scoring his first goal for PSG against Metz in 2017.
As per the player’s instagram story, the boots displays the number 201 on the sides (his number of goals with PSG) and ‘KY’ as reference to his nickname of ‘Ky Ky’.
Here’s to the next 201 goals.
