Nicolas Pepe offered to PSG

According to a number of reports from France, Nicolas Pepe has been offered to PSG.

It might come as a surprise to many to hear that Nicolas Pepe has been offered to PSG but I guess what would be even more surprising would be if they actually ended up signing him.

As you can read below, Arsenal’s record signing is currently looking for a new club after playing just 180 minutes since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations and being clearly out-of-favour with Mikel Arteta.

He has apparently also been offered to a number of other clubs, as per his instructions to his agent.

Nicolas Pepe searching for a new club after deciding to leave

Nicolas Pepe is searching for a new club after telling his agent he wants to leave Arsenal, according to a report.

Football.London write that Nicolas Pepe wants to leave Arsenal and he’s informed his agent to find him a new club. The winger recently hired a new agent, and he’s preparing to assess his options in the summer.

From Arsenal’s side, Pepe is seen as dispensable by Arteta, so the club will be willing to entertain offers for him.

The last update we had on Pepe in late April was that Arsenal were set to hold talks with him at the end of the season.

The winger will have two years left on his contract, and competition for places is set to increase with the club’s planned new signings this summer.

That followed reports from the tabloids claiming Arsenal are ready to listen to offers, and they’re resigned to taking a significant financial hit on what they paid for him.

The player himself would reportedly welcome a move to one of the other major European leagues.

But the Standard’s report suggested Arsenal hadn’t yet made a final decision.

Pepe has played 22 games for Arsenal this season, but he’s only started eight of them.

The 26-year-old’s return in those matches is actually pretty good, scoring three and assisting five – one goal contribution every 117 minutes.

But that’s with the help of League Cup games including against the likes of West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland. In the league, Pepe has just the two goal contributions, against Wolves and Norwich City.
