NicolĂĄs Castillo has one mission in Mexico: to replicate the form he displayed with Pumas in 2017 and 2018.
With the Felinos, Castillo was spectacular in front of goal, scoring 26 goals and adding five assists in 45 games with the club before earning a transfer to Benfica.
Although his start in Liga MX has not been as expected, appearing just twice since his âŹ8.75m deadline day arrival, the Eagles are optimistic and expect the best version of the Chilean to come soon.
However this Thursday, Castillo took to social media to reveal that he feeling very sad lately, as his little boy has returned to Chile to be with his mother.
âThe house will not be the same without you, I hope you have a nice trip!
âI hope to have the opportunity to see you soon or to come as soon as possible because it will be very difficult for me to support you in your absence.
âI love you my son, and I want to apologize if Iâve ever failed you, this is all for you.â
Though he may not be in the brightest of spirits, Castillo made it clear that success and doing things well is the main part of building a better future for him his son.
Carry on, Nico!
