Nicola Zalewski is one of the players who could be bound for an exit from the capital club this summer.

After failing to impress for two consecutive seasons, delivering multiple below-average performances for the Giallorossi, the former Primavera player is being linked with an exit from the club in the summer.

According to Corriere dello Sport, however, Zalewski is still hoping to convince Roma to extend his stay.

His current contract is set to expire a year from now and at the moment the chances of seeing it be renewed are slim to none, argues the newspaper.

That is why Zalewski considers the EURO 2024 tournament in Germany with the Polish national team to be his one shot at redemption in Roma’s eyes.

The tournament, which will allow him to participate in the second major event for national teams at the age of 22 after briefly featuring in the 2022 World Cup, could be decisive for his future.
