Fiorentina have announced that Nico González has extended his contract with the club through 2028.
The 25-year-old signed for the Serie A club from VfB Stuttgart in 2021 and has racked up 26 goals and 15 assists across 88 appearances.

His extension will come as a significant boost to Vincenzo Italiano and co. after González attracted plenty of interest from Premier League clubs over the summer.
With three goal contributions in the league so far this season, the Argentine has helped La Viola to fifth place in Serie A after five games.
