Juventus winger Nico Gonzalez is expected to remain out of action for nearly a month, but the Bianconeri hope he’ll recover in time for a crucial Serie A match against Inter at the end of October.
Argentinean winger Nico Gonzalez suffered a muscle injury in the opening stages of Juventus’ 3-2 win over RB Leipzig on Wednesday.
Sources in Italy, including Corriere dello Sport, claim that the ex-Fiorentina star will remain out of action for nearly one month.
Nico will miss the next Serie A match against Cagliari and won’t join the Argentina national team for international games during the break.
Calciomercato.com reports that Nico won’t be available for selection in the first competitive match after the October break against Lazio on October 19.
However, the Bianconeri hope he’ll recover in time for a Champions League game against Stuttgart on October 22 or five days later for an away match against rivals Inter.
Nico Gonzalez has one goal and one assist in six appearances at a club level this season.
