Newcastle United have found themselves under the cosh in their first taste of Champions League football in 20 years.
The Magpies will be keen on making a quick start in Group F, a brutal combination of teams with PSG, Borussia Dortmund, and Milan all fighting Eddie Howe’s side for two qualifying spots.
But in their opening clash of the campaign at the San Siro, the Magpies are seeing just how tough their group can be.
The home side have poured the pressure on their English counterparts, forcing Nick Pope into six saves in the opening 20 minutes of the match.
That’s more stops in the early exchanges than the Newcastle keeper has been forced to make in a single Premier League game so far this season!
The visitors are lucky to still be in the game as things stand, but there is still plenty of time to find their footing.
