After feeling muscular discomfort, Khéphren Thuram has been left out of OGC Nice’s squad to face Montpellier HSC in the Coupe de France on Wednesday night.
Thuram played the full 90 minutes against Stade Brestois on Sunday, however, the France international will not be part of the squad that travels to Montpellier after a minor muscular issue was detected on Tuesday. Valentin Rosier, who came off the bench against Brest, has also been left out of the squad. The right-back, prior to his substitute appearance against Les Pirates, hadn’t featured in well over a month after being ostracised at now-former club Besiktas. Les Aiglons are taking no chances with his fitness.
As well as Jérémie Boga and Terem Moffi, who are still at the AFCON, Nice will also be without Sofiane Diop, who is suffering from an undiagnosed foot issue. More tests are set to take place this week in order to ascertain the severity of the injury.
