Dante is suspended for OGC Nice’s trip to face Olympique Lyonnais after picking up a red card against AS Monaco last week, whilst Hicham Boudaoui will also miss out with a foot injury.

Captain Dante will be a big miss for Nice, who will be forced into making adjustments throughout the pitch. Youssouf Ndayishimiye will likely be forced to partner Jean-Clair Todibo at centre-back, with Rosario filling-in in the No.6 role with Morgan Sanson and Khéphren Thuram at either side of him.

However, Francesco Farioli has received a boost this week thanks to the returns of Jérémie Boga and Terem Moffi from the Africa Cup of Nations. They bolster the Italian manager’s attacking options, but having only returned on Thursday, there are question marks as to whether they will be ready to start. Tom Louchet could therefore retain his place on the left wing, whilst it is expected that Evann Guessand will start once again through the middle.
