MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers continued with opening matches in Groups E and F of Round One on Tuesday.

Saint Kitts and Nevis 0, Nicaragua 4

Nicaragua won 4-nil against Saint Kitts and Nevis at the National Stadium in Managua, Nicaragua.

Emma Quintanilla opened the scoring in the 20’, striking a left-footed shot from the left side of the box into the bottom left corner of the net.

La Azul y Blanco kept pushing the Saint Kitts and Nevis defensive line, paying off in the 44’ with a goal via a Mariela Zavala header from a corner kick.

Stefany Miranda capitalized on a poorly cleared ball in the area to get Nicaragua’s third goal in the 87’.

Helena Lau proved to be a super sub, as her first touch of the ball, a long right foot shot in the edge of the box in the 90 '+4, marked Nicaragua's fourth goal to seal the three points.

Saint Kitts and Nevis will seek to bounce back when it meets Jamaica on Thursday. Nicaragua and Jamaica will meet to close the group on Saturday.

Group F

Grenada 0, Dominican Republic 5

The Dominican Republic began its campaign with a 5-nil win against Grenada at Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Jabes Martinez started the goal count for Las Quisqueyanas in the 16’, sending a long shot from outside the area that Grenada goalkeeper Jadsa Mark was unable to stop.

The hosts doubled their lead in the 18’, as Paige Martinez took advantage of a loose ball following a corner kick.

Emma Torres got the third goal for Dominican Republic in the 22’, with a banger from outside the box that landed in the far left corner of the net.

Sophia Espinal secured the fourth goal for the DR in the 25’ from a corner kick, controlling the ball in the box to send it to the back of the net with her right foot.

Torres completed her brace and the fifth goal for the Dominican Republic in the 48’, ready to seize a cross from Espinal in the penalty area.

Grenada will conclude Round One against Costa Rica on Thursday. The Dominican Republic will step back on the field for its chance against Las Ticas on Saturday.
