Chelsea are set to be without N’Golo Kanté for the next two games due to illness, report Goal.
The French midfielder had only recently returned from a groin injury and scored in the recent 3-0 win away at Tottenham.
But after he was substituted in the second half of Saturday’s defeat to Manchester City, it has now emerged that he will be sidelined for Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Juventus and the upcoming Premier League fixture with Southampton with an illness.
This could mean another appearance for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who came off the bench to replace Kanté against City.
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel will speak to the media later on Tuesday ahead of his side’s trip to Turin.
