Chelsea have offered N’Golo Kanté a new contract with PSG lurking.
The Blues hope to ward off the Ligue 1 champions by handing the midfielder, who still has three years on his current deal, improved terms.
PSG are looking for a new defensive midfielder and the Frenchmen fits the bill.
According to the Daily Mirror, Chelsea are keen to tie him down to stave off any interest.
Kanté helped the west London club win the Premier League title in 2017, a year after achieving the same feat with Leicester and scooped the double player of the year awards.
The 27-year-old has appeared in every league match this season, scoring on the opening day in a. 3-0 win at Huddersfield.
