Neymar Open to a Possible Santos Return Following PSG Career | OneFootball

Before Neymar emerged as a world class star with Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, the Brazilian forward was a promising prospect with Santos.

Neymar kicked off his professional career with Santos where he played in five seasons with the Brazilian side. The PSG star went on to win six trophies during his time with Santos, which included triumph in the 2011 Copa Libertadores.

In a question and answer via his Instagram Stories, Neymar was asked whether he would consider a return to Santos sometime down the road. The Brazilian did not close the door on a possible return as he answered with a simple “maybe.”

Neymar was also asked whether he would be open to signing with Flamengo, which the forward also answered with a “maybe.”

However, Neymar has no intention of joining Sao Paulo as he answered with a straightforward “no.”

As many notable South American players have done in years past, Neymar could elect to return to his home country to finish off his footballing career.
