Neymar Makes UEFA Fans’ Team of the Year 2020 | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar was among 11 players voted in for the UEFA Fans’ Team of the Year 2020, the association announced on its official website.

Registered users on UEFA.com spent the past month voting for whom they deemed deserved to be in the UEFA Fans’ Team of the Year 2020. For the forward category, there were 15 players available that users could select from, including Neymar.

The Brazilian forward was among four attackers picked for the team, which also included Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.

Neymar had a standout year in 2020 for both club and country. He helped lead PSG to a domestic treble coupled with the run to the team’s first-ever Champions League final appearance. He also went on to score key goals in international fixtures for the Brazilian national team.

Expect Neymar to once again be a candidate for several prestigious player and team of the year honors over the ongoing calendar year.
