On Wednesday evening, Ligue 1’s Disciplinary Commission announced Neymar will be suspended for two matches following his sending off against Lille.

During Paris Saint-Germain’s 1-0 loss on 3 April, Neymar and Lille’s Tiago Djalo got into an altercation in the 90th minute which saw both players head to the tunnels.

The Disciplinary Commission has also handed Djalo a two-match ban.

As a result of the decision, PSG will be without Neymar for their upcoming matches against Strasbourg and Saint-Etienne.

Additionally, the statement announced Leandro Paredes and Idrissa Gueye also received one-match suspensions due to yellow card accumulation and the “sanction takes effect from Tuesday 13 April at midnight.”
