Brazil will be without three players when they take on Cameroon in Friday’s World Cup Group G finale, the team doctor has confirmed.

Neymar is still recovering from an ankle injury and won’t be fit in time for Friday’s game. The 30-year-old was unable to watch Monday’s 1-0 victory over Switzerland in the stadium as he was reportedly unwell.

Danilo is also still recovering from an ankle injury he sustained in the win over Serbia and will not be fit in time to face Cameroon.

And thirdly, Alex Sandro is the latest name to be added to the injury list, with a muscular problem set to keep him out of the Cameroon game.

Brazil are already through to the round of 16 after taking maximum points from their first two group matches.
