Super agent Pini Zahavi has claimed that Neymar will stay at Paris Saint-Germain next season and has dismissed claims of a move to Real Madrid.
Rumours have circulated wildly in recent months that the Brazil international is sick of life in France and will seek a move to Los Blancos in the summer.
However, the veteran Israeli, who doesn’t represent Neymar but is currently overseeing Robert Lewandowski’s career, has insisted that the PSG man won’t join Los Blancos because “he can’t play in the same team as Cristiano Ronaldo”.
“Neymar has done what he’s done for one sole reason,” Zahavi told Polish newspaper Przeglad Sportowy. “Right now there are three big stars: Messi, Cristiano, and Neymar, and they can’t play at the same club.
“At Barça, Neymar was always the number two behind Leo, for taking free-kicks, penalties, and everything else.
“He arrived in Spain as a young player, later he progressed and made himself great. Now he’s 26 years old and has eight or nine years at the top level left in his legs.
“He needs independence and PSG have big plans. Before Neymar arrived nobody followed Ligue 1 apart from the French.”
