Neymar bagged a brace, and his 400th and 401st career goals, as Paris Saint-Germain saw off a late fightback to beat Bordeaux at the Matmut Atlantique.
Scorers: Elis 78′, Niang 90+2′; Neymar 26′, 43′, Mbappé 63′.
Bordeaux had started the game well with PSG slow out of the blocks but failed to create a real goalscoring opportunity before Neymar intervened.
The Brazilian gave the league leaders the lead after 26 minutes, cutting inside from the left to fire the ball past Benoît Costil after receiving a diagonal pass from Kylian Mbappé.
It was the same combination again for the second goal as this time Neymar played a one-two with Mbappé, via a clever back heel, before sliding the ball home to complete his brace.
Mbappé then went from provider to goalscorer, tapping home PSG’s third after being unselfishly set up by Gini Wijnaldum.
The hosts did manage to make it an anxious last few minutes for Maurico Pochettino’s men as in the 78th minute when Alberth Elis poked home Yacine Adli’s pass across the face of the goal.
M’Baye Niang then poked home a second but PSG held out to move ten points clear at the top of Ligue 1.
