Neymar has admitted it was “horrible” watching Brazil from the stands as they drew with Panama last week.

The Seleção could only draw 1-1 with the tiny central American nation, much to the dismay of everyone at home.

And Neymar, who was in the stands recovering from a metatarsal injury, has conceded that it was tough not being able to effect the goings on at Estádio do Dragão.

“I was happy to see the boys play, to meet with them and talk a little bit,”he told CBF TV.

“The atmosphere was great so it was nice to be at the game.

“I must admit it was horrible watching from the stands though. Cheering them on his horrible [laughs].

“It was not the result we wanted but this is the beginning of an evolution with the national team.

“We’re all still getting to know each other so we need to keep calm.”

Next up for Brazil is a friendly with the Czech Republic on Wednesday.
