News: Pohang Steelers learn of their AFC Champions League Two opponents

K League's only representation in the 2025-2026 AFC Champions League Two, Pohang Steelers, will face Thai giants BG Pathum United in their first foray in the Asian Football Confederation's second-tier competition.
Pohang have been drawn into Group H along with BG Pathum United of Thailand, Kaya FC-Iloilo of the Philippines, and Tampines Rovers of Singapore.
BG Pathum United enter the competition as the third-placed team in the 2024-2025 Thai League, Tampines Rovers qualify as runners-up in the 2024-2025 Singapore Premier League, while Kaya won the 2024-2025 Philippines Football League title.
The Group Stage will commence in mid-September and will conclude in mid-December, with each team facing each other in a home-and-away format. The top two teams in each group advance to the Round of 16.
The Quarter-finals and Semi-finals are set for March 3-12 and April 7-15, respectively, with the Final pencilled in for May 16, 2026.
