Newcastle's new signings given jersey numbers

Newcastle United’s summer arrivals have been handed their squad numbers for the campaign ahead.

They have been confirmed by the club ahead of this weekend’s Sela Cup at St James’ Park.

Their most expensive signing of this summer Sandro Tonali will wear the No. 8 following his arrival from Milan.

That number is available after being vacated by Anthony Gordon, who takes the No. 10 from Allan Saint-Maximin following his move to Saudi Arabia.

Harvey Barnes has taken No. 15 which was last worn by Kieran Trippier in 2021/22.

There is also a change for the club’s youngest Premier League debutant Lewis Miley, who moves to 67 from 81.
