Newcastle United welcomed Arsenal to St James' Park for the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final looking to hold onto their 2-0 lead from the first leg.
Urged to make the stadium a cauldron, there was a bubbling atmosphere in the ground well before kick off, and the Magpies added to it in style.

Before the game, Newcastle had Johnny "Blue Hat" Davis get the fans in the mood with a rendition of local hero.
It almost worked perfectly too, with Alexander Isak firing the hosts ahead minutes in, only for VAR to rule it out for offside.
