Manchester City will take on Newcastle United tomorrow at St. James Park. The champions will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to the new Premier League season against Eddie Howe’s side. But the Magpies will pose a tough test for Pep Guardiola’s side. In a week where City learned that Rodri will miss the rest of the season, they will have to be at their best to beat Newcastle tomorrow.
Newcastle United will enter tomorrow’s match sitting 6th in the Premier League table. They haven’t been at their best since the 24/25 season began. But what they have shown in the first 5 games of the new campaign is an ability to grind out results. Although they were beaten by Fulham 3-1 at Craven Cottage last weekend, they had made an impressive start to the new season. They are a team-packed with quality, so Manchester City will need to be at their best tomorrow.
A look at the Newcastle squad shows just how much quality they have. They have match winners such as Anthony Gordon, Harvey Barnes, Bruno Guimaraes, Joelinton and Alexander Isak in their ranks. Although Isak is in doubt for tomorrow’s match due to a broken toe. Eddie Howe told the media today that Isak may miss tomorrow’s match. But backed by their passionate home support City will have a tough test on their hands at St. James Park.
