VT Markets agreeing a multi-year partnership with Newcastle United.

Adding to the ever growing list of commercial partners signed up by the NUFC owners.

Newcastle United official statement – 16 August 2024:

Newcastle United has agreed a multi-year partnership with VT Markets, an online financial trading platform.

The Australia-based broker becomes the club’s Official Financial Trading Partner. VT Markets will use Newcastle United’s global reach and exposure to build its brand in multiple international markets. VT Markets adds Newcastle United to its expanding sponsorship portfolio, which includes Maserati MSG Racing, from the world of Formula E.

“We’re proud that VT Markets views Newcastle United as the ideal partner to support, and elevate, its ambitious global growth plans,” said Newcastle United’s Chief Commercial Officer, Peter Silverstone.

“Our journey together began during our recent pre-season tour to Japan. VT Markets could see the exceptional support from our Japanese supporters, and the loyalty and passion of the Newcastle United fans who travelled from the UK, Asia and Australasia, to see their beloved team. This serves to highlight the club’s global appeal which, in turn, attracts partners like VT Markets.

“In addition to hosting over 50,000 fans across our two matches in Japan, we had a phenomenal response to our commercial activations and fan engagement, experiencing a 180% rise in digital engagement during the tour.

“We are delighted to welcome another internationally recognised partner to our club and look forward to working closely with VT Markets.”

Since its formation in 2015, VT Markets has a presence in over 160 countries, offering global customers access to more than 1,000 financial tools via an online platform and app.

The partnership was officially inaugurated through a ceremonial exchange of gifts between both parties during the club’s pre-season tour in Japan. VT Markets representatives were presented with a number 77 Newcastle United jersey, a number which holds great significance for VT Markets’ values, symbolising good fortune and aspirations for growth.
