Newcastle United are now interested in signing Samu Aghehowa.

After having scouted the young striker, United have been impressed by what they have seen.

The Athletic state that their information is that Newcastle United like the Spain international and a formal bid could be forthcoming.

As a 20 year old, Samu Aghehowa scored 27 goals last season in all competitions playing for FC Porto.

Turning 21 only in May, a young striker with a lot of potential.

Called up for Spain in November (2024) Samu Aghehowa played against both Switzerland and Denmark.

No formal approach as yet but a bid from Newcastle United could be just around the corner.

Having joined for £14m from Atletico Madrid last summer, in his first proper season of regular first team football amongst his 27 goals in 2024/45, Samu Aghehowa scored twice against Manchester United in the group stage of the Europa League as Porto came from behind to draw 3-3.
