In a recent report, Ole mentioned that Newcastle United have set their sights on Boca Juniors winger Kevin Zenon. It has been revealed that the Magpies are planning to scout the Argentine talent on Sunday ahead of a potential move in the summer.

Zenon’s Decent Form In Argentine Football

The 22-year-old has proven his worth as a decent performer in Argentine youth football over the past few years. Zenon has done well to establish himself as an important presence in Boca Juniors’ senior squad and deserves credit for earning six senior appearances for them, scoring one goal and picking up one assist in all competitions.

The talented wide player is currently one of the best youth wide players in Argentina. However, there is still a lot of room for improvement in his game. Still, there is no doubt that Zenon could prove himself to be a decent acquisition for Newcastle United in the long run.

His current contract at the Argentine club will run out at the end of 2028 which could make it difficult for the Magpies to get a deal done for him at the end of this season.

Should Newcastle United Boss Eddie Howe Get Zenon On Board?

Zenon is an energetic runner with the ball at his feet and can cause some problems for his marker on the left flank. He has got the vision to make some decent plays for his teammates on the offensive end of the field. The Argentine sensation can shoot the ball with venom from long range and is a technically gifted footballer. He mainly functions as a left-winger but is versatile enough to serve as a left-back if told to do so.

However, it remains to be seen whether the Argentine wing wizard can make a smooth transition to life in Tyneside if Newcastle United manage to snap him up this summer. Still, it makes sense for Eddie Howe to go all out to get Zenon on board in the summer transfer window as he has the potential to be a success story at St. James’ Park in the long run.

At 22, the best is yet to come from Zenon which makes him a decent option for the Magpies to pursue later this year.
