Number of days until these Newcastle United moments happen (as at Tuesday 24 June 2025):

13 days until Newcastle United begin pre-season training (A number of other clubs have made public this date (Monday 7 July) for their return to pre-season preparations. Judging on past summers, United will probably have players start returning at the end of the previous week (Next week!) to have various tests/checks done, then pre-season starting properly on Monday 7 July)

25 days until the first pre-season friendly, Celtic v Newcastle on Saturday 19 July.

28 days(*) until Newcastle United will fly-off for their pre-season friendlies in Singapore and South Korea (*This is a best guess, I would think this the latest the NUFC squad would depart to acclimatise etc with the Arsenal friendly just five days later).

33 days until Arsenal v Newcastle pre-season friendly (National Stadium, Singapore) on Sunday 27 July.

36 days until Team K League v Newcastle pre-season friendly (Suwon World Cup Stadium, South Korea) on Wednesday 30 July.

40 days until Tottenham v Newcastle pre-season friendly (Seoul World Cup Stadium, South Korea) on Sunday 3 August

45 days until first St James’ Park pre-season friendly, Newcastle v RCD Espanyol on Friday 8 August

46 days until sixth and final NUFC pre-season friendly, Newcastle v Atletico Madrid on Saturday 9 August

53 days until first NUFC Premier League match of the season – Aston Villa v Newcastle on Saturday 16 August
