It is going to be Newcastle United v Sunderland at St James’ Park, following an announcement (see below) by the club.
The NUFC women playing their derby rivals on Sunday 23 March 2025 at the main stadium.
The home game against Southampton in November, also seeing the Newcastle United women playing at St James’ Park.
This NUFC announcement followed on from a Sunderland one, the mackems having confirmed that four of their women’s team matches will be played at the Stadium of Light.
Sunderland v Newcastle is a 2pm kick-off on Sunday 13 October 2024.

Season ticket prices for Newcastle United Women’s 2024-25 campaign have been confirmed as the Magpies get ready for their season in the Barclays Women’s Championship.
Becky Langley’s side will continue to play their games at Kingston Park, with two home games scheduled to take place at St. James’ Park, including the Tyne-Wear derby against local rivals Sunderland AFC Women.
Supporters can purchase their season tickets online via book.newcastleunited.com, with prices starting from £54 for adults and just £15 for concessions.
Existing Newcastle United Women season ticket holders can purchase their tickets for the 2024-25 season during the exclusive renewal period which is open from 10am, Friday 9 August. General sale for season tickets will follow from 10am, Friday 16 August.
Season ticket prices also include admission to two games at St. James’ Park, which will see Southampton take on the Magpies on Sunday 17 November, 2.00pm kick-off, before the highly anticipated derby against Sunderland on Sunday 23 March, 2.00pm kick-off.’

As the third last home fixture, interesting to see what kind of crowd there will be when this derby is played at St James’ Park. Newcastle v Sunderland on Sunday 23 March 2025 and potentially the first ever SJP sold-out match for the women’s team, especially if NUFC looking good for promotion.
