Newcastle United will wear a special jersey when they host Tottenham at St James’ Park later this month, with Sela set to donate the front-of-shirt sponsorship to charity.

Mail Sport report on Wednesday that Sela have chosen a televised fixture against a top six team as the perfect time to donate the shirt space, and the chosen charity will be announced closer to the game.

The Saudi-based events company signed a £25m-per-year shirt sponsorship deal with the Magpies last year and have been keen to engage with the club’s fans on several occasions, such as when they arranged a drone show over St James’ Park ahead of the Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain, or when they handed out free scarves to supporters for the FA Cup clash with Sunderland in January.
