Luis Ernesto Pérez's side begin their campaign on Monday, 30th May when they take on Ghana at Aubagne's Stade de Lattre in Group B.

Mexico, who lost against England in the final of the 2018 edition, then face Venezuela three days later at Vitrolles' Stade Jules-Ladoumègue before returning to Aubagne for their final group game against Indonesia on Sunday, 5th June.

Muñoz, who scored two goals in nine appearances for Newcastle's second-string this term, was part of the Mexico Under-17 squad which reached the 2019 Under-17 World Cup final before narrowly losing out to hosts Brazil.
